The majority of aluminum frames or doors are powder-coated. This is a factory-applied, durable coating, and the coating process takes place under controlled conditions. Therefore, powder coating cannot be applied outdoors.

Van Heemskerk uses two-component coatings from the automotive industry for repairs, which are in the top segment in terms of durability. Overhead doors are often equipped with sandwich panels that have a coil coat, which we can also restore. When only the color has become dull, we also use special nano coatings.
