Weather conditions are growing ever more extreme. Sudden storms and significant hailstorms may cause serious damage to your façade or roofing sheets. Dents caused by the hail may lead to hairline cracks, which reduce the protective and insulating qualities of the material. In the long term, this may lead to issues with the top coat.
It is a good idea to repair the damaged parts in time, before the damage leads to other problems. Our specialists can repair this damage using a special dent removal, filling and spraying technique. This will, in turn, avoid further damage. These types of repairs are moreover a lot more affordable than full-fledged replacement. In some cases, when the damage is too significant or was left untreated for too long, replacement may be necessary after all. We can do this for you, too.
In case of damage, Van Heemskerk consults well-known panel manufacturers and suppliers, such as Kingspan, Falk, Joris Ide, Arcelor Mittal, Rex Panels, Brucha, Claddingpoint and many others. On top of that, depending on your building insurance, hail damage can often be claimed. Our repair method has been recognised and applied by insurers for many years. We are happy to advise you on the best way to repair your damage, and can also provide a quote for your insurer.
Do you have hail or storm damage and would you like to have this repaired quickly and properly? Or would you first like a quote, to present to your insurer, for example? Feel free to contact us.

In many cases, the damage can be fixed “virtually invisibly”. However, this depends to a large degree on local circumstances, the condition of the surface and prior maintenance. Every day, our experts successfully perform work on both new buildings and buildings older than 30 years, so there is plenty we can do!
9 out of 10 times, panels and profiles feature a coil coating, which is also known as pre-painted steel or aluminium. This could be a colorcoat prisma, PVDF, silicon polyester, or an HPS Plastisol coating, among others. Coil coating is a factory process involving extreme heat. As such, it cannot be applied for repairs.
The products we use are derived from the automotive sector and were specifically designed for repairs to sandwich panels and profiles. The paints seamlessly fit the applied coil coat when it comes to durability and appearance. We are familiar with all types of coating systems and always have the most common colours in stock.
That depends on the on-site situation. Façades in full view are generally repaired if the size of the damage allows for this and the number of dents is within reasonable limits. Another option, if the situation allows for this, is to install a new panel in front of the old one. We can do this ourselves, since we have access to expert teams and do not require any involvement from third parties.
For less visible components, like roofing sheets, we often try to find a technical solution to retain the sheet. The number of dents is often simply too high to repair, and the damage is usually not visible. The impact of the hailstones may create hairline cracks in the top coat which, in time, can lead to issues. We generally only respray the roofing sheet in this situation.
